[Quranic reflection]: Homosexuality is nothing but Sexual Gratification.

In the Quran, homosexuality was defined explicitly as an act of "Luxury"; a synonym for the phrase "Gratification":

Humans -just like animal- seek pure pleasure; sometimes it's killing, hunting, destroying, and in many cases they practice the "profusion" even in sexual activities, turning sex from a bond between males & females into a twisted practice that includes the seeking of excess pleasure from sexual activities with the same gender, mating with children even, shockingly it extends to mating with animals even.

The double standards of many societies and philosophies show in the condemning of one excess act -like murder or pedophiliac practices-, but allowing the other -like homosexuality-.

Some scientists already categorised homosexuality in the animal kingdom as an act of pure gratification, which is another word for "excess"; an act that doesn't satisfy any evolutionary point:

On the other hand, they could just be enjoying themselves, suggests Paul Vasey, animal behavior professor at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. "They're engaging in the behavior because it's gratifying sexually or it's sexually pleasurable," he says. "They just like it. It doesn't have any sort of adaptive payoff."

The Quran actually used this same exact word to define homosexuality; the Prophet Lot was living in an ancient city that began practicing homosexuality instead of regular male-female sex -to me; the city is the only archelogical place that was bombarded by a volcano and remained with its victims kept in ash to our modern age; Pompeii-.

The verses say:

(80) And (remember) Lut, (Lot) as he said to his people, "Do you commit (Literally: come up with the obscenity) such obscenity as in no way has anyone in the worlds ever gone before you (perpetrated) it?

(81) Surely you indeed come up with lust to men, apart from (i.e. instead of) women; no indeed, you are an extravagant people." (i.e., exceeding the limits (of decency)

(82) And in no way was the answer of his people (anything) except that they said, "Drive them out of your town; surely they are a folk who purify themselves."

(83) So We delivered him and his family, except his wife; she was one of the laggards.

(84) And We rained down upon them a rain; so look how was the end of the criminals.

Notice how the Quran described homosexuals as "extravagant"; a synonym for "excessive".
Just like science proved today that the act is practiced as an "excessive" act for pure pleasure.

Similar to pedophilia, zoophilia, murder, and so on.

You yourself have said that you are sexually attracted to men. Are you excessive and extravagant?

FWIW, there is no sensible way in which gratification = excess (although they sometimes coincide, which is awesome).
