if we are in his image then one must wonders why a unitary eternal god would have arms and legs, to say nothing of penis and scrotum.  

It seems much more likely that god is made in the image of a dubiously evolved monkey having delusions of grandeur, than god happen to be a dubiously evolved monkey with obvious tendency towards narcissism, but i get ahead of myself.
