Yes, AQ and Isil in particular are being brought up because those are other problematic people you've used to be your proxy army on the ground to try to achieve your geo-political goals. The death toll of 9/11 is nothing compared to the death toll America brought upon the middle east, and I think of 9/11 as a bee sting in comparison, as do you, so let's not pretend. Yes, brown terrorists kill people, and you'd be arguing to build up their infrastructure and arms if this was back in the day and they were fighting the USSR, so let's not pretend about that either.
Iraq was better off with Saddam. Afghanistan better of with the Taliban. And good on the Taliban taking down big AQ leaders now. Props to them for that. Thanks.
