In an informal "you'd have to be nuts to x" sort of way, I get it.  The fact remains.  Mental illness is not a good predictor of mass shootings, as most mass shooters are not mentally ill, they are terrorists.

You claimed that people with a diagnozed mental illness should not be allowed to have guns because they are significantly more likely to commit a mass shooting, right? Well, the evidence does not support that.
