I'm going by what's more likely based on logic. Helios likely refused to indulge me in my thought experiment and give an answer because he would not consider taking away the right to alcohol. If someone was willing to take away the right to alcohol to save tens of thousands of lives, there would be no reason for them to hide that fact from the forum by refusing to answer, like Boru just freely and willingly answered the thought experiment with no issue. Now, if someone doesn't want the alcohol banned, then refusing to answer gives them plausible deniability and protects them from being confirmed as a hypocrite. It makes perfect sense.

Sorry, but that is a misapplication of the law of the excluded middle as there are more than two possibilities here.  This is why people with shit for brains shouldn't try to apply logic.  Fail again.

It's also an Argument From Silence Fallacy. Indeed logic fail.
