In Joseph's story in the Quran, there is a part mentioning that the ruler of Egypt had a dream that was interpreted by Joseph, the interpretation was that a 7 year famine would come. After the sharp interpretation, Joseph was rewarded with freedom from the prison + becoming an official in the Egyptian kingdom.

This isn't really working. The Jews must have moved to Egypt in the first intermediate period (2081-2055 BC). Imotep is a semi-divine personality who built the earliest Pyramid in about 2650 BC.
Joseph in the Quran is known a Yusuf. If I remember correctly he wasn't an architect at all. I don't really remember his story. BUt do not believe everything you hear.
