Unless you think that wasted money and men, soldiers and even political power are not exhaustion, then you are hugely mistaken.
Lots of powers are being exhausted, economy experts must tell you...or job owners.
If you're crying into your cup about the terrible loss and waste to russia - I think that ship has sailed - but you'd have a point. It's almost as if the entire ruling class in russia is a traitor to russia and it's people, or something. Where are all of russias fair weather friends anyway? Russia is over there setting fire to whatever they can as they bolt for the hills and not a peep from them.
I spoke more with an attitude typical of the 60’s or even the 80’s. Yes we all need to have military budgets and support the people who readily give everything they have because of the limited planetary consciousness the world seems to have. My argument is that 400 nuclear warheads should be enough for a country like China. I also think that the US can agree to decrease its nuclear arsenal to that number too, in return for China not building anymore of those weapon (which will not / cannot be used in this type of society anyway). So that’s my idealistic approach in a time of very obvious climate crisis.
