It seems the Iranians started to kick the extreme religious government, Saudi fucks realized that Wahhabism is sinking them so they abandoned it, so as Iranians as it seems (they're abandoning the twelver cult).
Judging only from the appearances all of these people seem to be in a far better situation than me but as cliché as it may sound I have to say this:
If you are in a place in which freedom of thought and religion is being guaranteed by the constitution since 1776, 1789, or at least since the beginning of the last century that is not something trivial or unworthy. Like, you should not let anybody tell you that (for instance) economics is more important than that because it is not.
Although I am a supporter of greater equality and a better share of resources between both states and individuals, if you are able to gather in a public place and do a prayer or an act of worship in any way you like and even go to extremes like this for instance:

I think this has to be maintained and protected somehow. Because what the republican adventure in my country is telling me and also what some events in the US is telling me is that, someone can come and create something really beautiful. But what has been done by man can also be undone by other man. Somebody can come and create the exact opposite because he / she believes that things should be the way they have always been. Like a group of aristocrats who are constantly struggling for even more power and more wealth and the rest of us being thankful for merely being alive (and - let’s not kid ourselves - that is truly the way things have been for centuries).
So even something as simple as giving people a voice. Like being able to change our governance without people having to die in their thousands, I mean, these are valuable things right?
I didn't quite understand what you wanted to say.
So I'll repeat my comment in simple, easy to reply to points:
1-Turkey did not have an "Islamic push"; rather it underwent a "coup d'état" led by the famous yet infamous Committee of Union and Progress; ending the Islamic Ottoman reign and starting a new reign.
2-That party led Turkey to extremism, madness, it even commit genocides against the Armenian, Greek, and Assyrian peoples as part of a broader policy of ethnic erasure during the late Ottoman period.
3-Iran is different from Turkey and both states have no relationship with each other. The main difference is Turkey is Sunni, Iran is Shiite.
4-Iranian people got suffocated by extreme Shiite rulers; such as the man you shared in your video in this post.
5-Iran Shiite regime = Saudi Arabian Wahhabi regime.
