Interestingly, despite the factor 20 differences in average annual income amongst these three countries, the first Chinese lunar lander also cost ball park the average annual income of 15000 Chinese, and estimated cost of a NASA lander was also ball park the average annual income of 15000 Americans.
So the Indian lander cost 1/4 as much as the Chinese lander and 1/20 as much as a perspective NASA lander.
So if we are globally interested in exploring space for the benefit of all man kind at the least cost to mankind, and not just to thump nationalistic chests, we should subcontract space exploration to the Indians.
