Spaceballs is the new Star Wars: Lone Star is a mix of Luke and Han (a Mary Sue) which is what Rey was. He also does not know who his parents are but then finds out he is of royal lineage - just like Rey when she finds out she is related to Emperor Palpatine. Lone Star wears a talisman around his neck; no wise man has ever told him what it means, but he knows it has something to do with his family. Rey, similarly, has unexplainable powers and psychic links to the Force; no one can tell her exactly what it means, but she knows it has something to do with her family.
Yogurt denigrates the so-called “wise men” who couldn’t decode Lone Star’s necklace, insisting that Lone Star’s destiny will be revealed once he writes it, while Yoda burns the old Jedi books, denigrating the so-called “wise men,” insisting the characters start writing their own legacy.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
