Jenna Ellis, a former lawyer for Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign, pleaded guilty Tuesday to illegally conspiring to overturn Trump’s 2020 election loss in Georgia, making her the third attorney associated with the former president to accept a plea deal in the sweeping criminal racketeering case.
It occurred to me that there are diminishing returns from flipping defendants - anyone who hasn't flipped yet best be doing so yesterday.
Yup, it wouldn’t be the worst thing if more defendants said, ‘Hey, I want in on that deal!’ only to be told by the prosecutors, ‘Sorry, we’ve met our quota. See you in court.’
