So I agreed with your 5 point argument and added that I did not even need to “experiment” with in individuals of the same sex.
And I am assuming that this is the same for “others” too. The kid is usually 13-14 (perhaps even 10 years old or so). And the libido starts to point in that direction. And that’s perfectly normal. I think they do not need to “experiment” with the opposite sex either (unless they are bisexual of course).
