The 4-3 ruling will be placed on hold until January 4, pending Trump’s appeal to the US Supreme Court, which could settle the matter for the nation.
That's encouraging. Mostly because Trump's pet court isn't as tractable as he thought it would be (Clarence Thomas being the standout exception, but he's got his own legal troubles waiting in the wings).
