RE: Do you have any interest in the philosophies of introflection pioneered by Buddhism?

For (relatively) many years (8 or so?) I would have considered myself closest to being a Buddhist - certainly only a lay member and not a practicing monk or anything like that.
It's a really solid moral framework to base an individual's ethics upon, but ultimately I do think it falls short in someways; most of all being too utopian and believing that all people are inherently "good" and that evil is a choice or failure of an otherwise good person.
