You should be ashamed - this attempt to launder the basis of your faith is insulting.

Recognizing the limitations of our understanding is not laundering the basis of my faith. Yes, God is personal and intervening. Didn’t say he wasn’t.

Just another one of those heretical catholics..in name only.... that make up the majority of your cohort by self reporting and the anecdotal experience of your witdoctors.  Further, the idea that the god of cathol is represented as both male and female is not true biblically, nor is it true in the many centuries of the development of the faith thereafter.  You silly fuckers invented a demi-goddess to fill the feminine role.....

Would you like me to share some verses where God is represented with the characteristics of a father and verses (much fewer, I agree) where God is represented with characteristics of a mother? (Which, by the way, is what I said, not that he was “both male and female”)

Mary is supposed to, basically, be a female version of God, right?
