New Age is just some odd-ball mix of cosmological shamanism, force fields, and the same stupid people as always. Star Trek religion, really. I.o.w.: just a fashionable hype. Like Flower Power. And vegetarianism. And homeopathy. And Feng Shui. And World of Warcraft. And Facebook. And Twitter. Etc. etc. Followers – sheep really – are buying the creators' of those hypes' shit with hard bucks. Typical religions. Some are only a flash in the pan and fizzle out within a couple years. Some manage to fool peoples for over 5 millennia, if you are to believe the Jews. The RC church is almost a spring chicken in the monotheisms. Just over 2,000 years old. But since they lie about everything that's probably also a lie.
