50 years on death row

I'm not against the death penalty...but I don't know if I'd call it over used.  It's a tough call that I'm glad I'm not in charge of.  

I didn't say it was overused. I'm not against it because it's over-used. I'm against it, generally, because it's irrevocable, meaning that wrongful convictions cannot be corrected meaningfully. That's a different kettle of fish.

I have my wishy-washies when it comes  to murder for hire or murder during child-molestation; but those are emotional and not rational objections, and not a sound basis in law.

I'm glad that's not my decision, too.

Wasn't suggesting you'd called it over used.  Though that's a common thing I've heard on the subject.  

Mind you, I was several bourbon's in last night.  I'm surprised I could form complete sentences. 

Working in the places I have, I've met several people who absolute deserve to die, and have several friends who have been injured by their violence and the ineptitude of the powers that be.  

That said, if they can prove simply that they'll not be a hazard to others, I'm ok with indefinite housing.

I worked with one of his violent "trainees".  Absolutely nightmare people.  Beyond my ability to describe.
