I recently remembered a passage from a Richard Roeper book of listicles I read long ago:

Monkeybone (2001)
Brendan Fraser’s Stu temporarily occupies the corpse of a recently deceased gymnast played by Chris Kattan (don’t ask), whose organs burst from his body, fall from the sky (again, don’t ask), and land on people’s heads and on a barbecue grill (please don’t ask).

Now, imagine what you'd think such a scene would look like. At a minimum, you'd imagine something out of a Cronenberg or Hennenlotter movie. Maybe something like Society.

Gee, it's almost like a PG-13 movie that Cartoon Network saw as okay to advertise in prime-time before they created Adult Swim could never do justice to such a description.
