I often turn off the contemporary sensitive emotional whiney male voices, and the effusively enthusiastic female presenters.
I can sort of cope with shit, but not when I'm continuously told it's fkn golden.
These aren't real to me, maybe if they died choking on their vomit occasionally.
What I need are more Tom Waitses.
Country Music, it used to be different, cool? maybe, real? sometimes.
I remember back in the noughties, my favourite uncle raved about Garth Brooks.
I counted beans for an earthmoving company then, with a guy from the inland side of the divide.
He had some Dixie Chicks he disowned and a Garth CD, I gave it a listen, I near choked to death on my vomit.
Obviously a product of some kind of awful MacDonalds like mass production process.
What used to be country music would have alt as a prefix now, there might be good stuff there.

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
