It's official...I got the new medication the doctor wants me to take for while...I will now be taking my morning meds using a bowl and a spoon.

Good grief, this new one is three big capsules at the same time first thing in the morning along with all the other things I take every damn morning.  Good news is that if this works I should first be able to cut back on one of the other meds and in a couple months start cutting back on this new one.  For now breakfast will be "Capsules and Pills" the breakfast of old, sick people.  

Damn it.

Stop teasing me, don't make me guess, I NEED NAMES!

I got 222 capsules of Budesonide.  The cash price was over $3,500.00 (YIKES).  Insurance paid it all...that's why I remain on my husband's insurance instead of going the Medicare route.

Along with the stomach ulcer I have been diagnosed with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collagenous_colitis and this ginormous bottle of capsules is supposed to put that in remission.

We'll see how it goes.

***adding***there is some thought that statins can be part of the cause of this wonderful condition.  I have been fighting my cardiologist for ages and not been compliant with taking statins.  At the end of January, he and I got into it again and I took three doses in a week and then all hell broke loose.  He can shove his statins directly up his ass.
