There's no tradition of genesis being about some ice age settlement at the bottom of the sea. None.
-and why would there be? Neither the authors of genesis nor anyone in between ever had a clue about anything like that. Only people who would know better would know about that. People say all sorts of weird things because there's a tradition of saying them...but that one is not one of those things. We're dealing with something altogether weirder than tradition when we see stuff like that.
