Jews of every stripe disagree about virtually everything, including who to recognize as Jews.
As to belief in Yeshua as Mashiach making one a Christian, I think it rather depends on what you think a Christian is.
It’s not what I *think* a Christian is, it’s what a Christian *actually* is. Belief in Jesus as the Messiah is - both foundationally and definitionally - what makes a Christian.
