Talked with a friend a couple days ago and we got into this conversation
-One point was that we are here for a purpose and all the times I could have died but didn't is proof of that. She also went on to say "What about the people that get impaled in the head and still live "How can you say there is no god"
-Also how she talked to a friend and he said that "Jesus was either crazy,a liar or Christ" and how it makes so much sense. That all the things prophesied in the Old Testament came true in the New Testament even though they were written hundreds of years apart.
-How you have to have faith, and faith is everything. Also brought up the experience she had of hearing gods voice speaking to her. and how that really cemented her faith.
-Went into Joyce Meyers and her book about overcoming obstacles, and how it's helped her. "She been through so much and still believes" I read one chapter on positive thoughts about trusting the lord etc
-she talked about this question and answer at her church where people who doubt or have questions about god can get their questions answered
All this got me thinking, and while I do feel we are here for a purpose I don't really tie that into believing in God. She already mentioned how Christianity is the true religion, but that still doesn't account for Hinduism Islam etc...and what makes them less right(I should have asked this)
