I’m reading that 45 old Soviet Tanks are also being provided to Ukraine as a part of the new US aid package. Zelensky also said in May that the shortage of artillery rounds has also ended. I’m reading about 3,000,000 155mm, 800,000 105mm, and 400,000 152mm artillery rounds. I don’t know if these are US made or old Soviet shells from third countries.

This is a key issue because Russia is producing 250,000 / month or 4 million rounds / year. The US in comparison is producing 28,000 artillery shells / month and is aiming at increasing the number to 80,000 / Month by the end of 2024.
It’s amazing how the Russians have managed to maintain all these munition factories from the 80’s with all the deindustrialization that happened after the fall of the Soviet regime.
