The problem isn't Momentum, it's Nu-Labor. They're so intent on destroying every other faction in the party that they'd rather see UKIP in goverment than a social democrat.
If you think Momentum isn't the problem you might want to take another look at the 2019 General Election results...
Momentum was rejected by traditional Labour voters to the point of safe Labour seats returning Tory MPs, pretending otherwise is like claiming the Earth is flat.
If the Republicans got rid of Trump but left MAGA in place they would still be fascists, the same principle applies to Labour.
