Extraction (2020) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extraction_(2020_film) - Fast paced action shootemup with thin characters and a flimsy story, but what camera work! Hero ex .mil guy takes a contract to rescue a kidnapped son of a drug kinpin in exotic Dhaka, Bangladesh. The camera puts us in situ, up close and right in the action (we even get blood spatter on the lens) as hero battles video-game like baddies who walk up and get shot, stabbed, pummeled, thrown off buildings, run over with cars, exploded etc. A 10+ minute sequence appears to be one long cut where we follow hero into a car that is chased throughout the narrow streets of Dhaka. We ride in the back seat, along side, and above as the chase ensues. The camera moves from outside to inside vehicles, into narrow alleys and stairways, into private apartments, along street markets, all the while the bullets fly. Hero does hero stuff. The end.
A laughably bad movie except for the cinematography. I found myself admiring the technical camera work while observing the ridiculousness.
