As any primer on the fallacy of appeal to common sense will tell you, if there is reason to doubt that something is indeed common sense, as the case here, you need to support your claim of it being either common sense or true. You did neither and just ipse dixit declared it to be so. Your proposition is no more soundly argued than that of the moron who says that such and so is "obviously" true. It's typically a sign that the person lacks even rudimentary justification for their position.
