The populists are trying to scare people saying that they don’t want to be like Ukraine.
The people seem to have had it with being a Russian satellite state and do not want to go back to the Soviet Era.
On the other hand. Iran’s and Russia’s influence in the whole region is decreasing. They have already used a lot of resource for the war in Ukraine. With Israel having annihilated Hezbollah they can’t even properly come to the rescue of their ally Bashar-al-Assad.

They now have their own long range missiles that can hit targets deep into Russia.
But Crazy Hair is a bit like Putin. They might even get along just fine. I think we’ll have to wait and see
