I'm curious, why do you think god is real, what do you base your belief on?
It's hard to view this stuff in a vacuum, because I was raised Catholic, and being raised Catholic might very well have something to do with my confidence in God's existence. Then again, it might not have anything to do with it, and I might be one of those people who just naturally believes in God. If the former is true, then I can just say I believe in God because the Pope says God is real, and if the latter is true, well that's self-explanatory.
