Had a nice couple hours with my two kids who live here in town, their spouses, and the two granddaughters and one of their boyfriends.
We had snacks and desserts and most of us played several rounds of Cards Against Humanity. Bonus granddaughter is 15 now and was elevated to the adult shenanigans. She wavered between too bashful to read the cards out loud to laughing so hard she cried.
The Bail took in a week-old abandoned kitten someone found. Drove all over Ft. Worth and where her college is to find a shelter that could help out and ended up with supplies for the little fella but no one would take him in. One shelter told her to just put him back on the side of the road where he was found - WTAF?!?!
So she has been bottle feeding him every two hours along with taking care of his other needs and it's apparently the best form of birth control ever.
Christmas 2024 is in the books.
