RE: Russia and Ukraine

Despite everything, everyone wants to believe that President Trump can make a change (As in “the hair of the dog that bit you”).
The reality on the ground is that Ukrainians are exhausted. With those North Korean suicide squad (who blow themselves up in order not to become POW’s) I understand how the morale must be very low on the frontline. They also simply cannot recruit more people. Like many ancient East-bloc countries, Ukrainians simply didn’t make enough babies in the 90’s and in the first-half of the 00’s.
Yet Russia is also finished. If 150,000 Ukrainian were killed until now, that figure must be at least two time more on the Russian front. So the idea is still nice. What if he offers something to Putin that will make him want to stop this atrocity? Maybe we should just wait and see.
