Supporting Ukraine is in Poland best interests but we aren't talking about rational country or even healthy democracy and Poland too have problems with fascists making googly eyes at putler and wishing us to stop helping Ukraine.
I hope that even clowns making Poland gov will have enough wit and decency to keep helping, but counting on polish politicians wit is always risky bet.
For the moment, Comrade Cat, they're doing better than American politicians. I imagine that proximity to the threat is fine-tuning their outlook.
Month ago PM and president were in a race who will fellate netanjahu quicker just because some clown in USA sent facile letter. Both of them were willing to break international agreement just to stop US from raising it's brew. If trump will promise that he will call PM a good boy tusk will at least consider dropping Ukraine as being patted on the head is greatest reward that polish politicians can imagine when it comes to USA.
From the outside Poland might look successful, strong or whatever else but it's more akin to asylum than anything else when you're inside and see what is really happening. It's just that not many people know Polish and thus have skewed view of things, not like it is with USA with english being lingua franca allowing everyone to see insanity on display.
