Libertarianism = Anarchy.
There was an episode of the original Star Trek series called Errand of Mercy. It is the episode that introduced the Klingons. It also introduced a race called the Organians that were seemingly unconcerned about anything at all. They were pacifistic and apparently primitive and ignorant. As it turned out, they were so advanced and powerful that Spock estimated that the Organians were as advanced above Humans, Vulcans and Klingons as we were above single-cell life-forms.
Anarchy works if you're that advanced (essentially gods) but it's a fucking disaster if you aren't.
Rules suck. Bureaucracy sucks. Police Suck. But imperfect beings like ourselves absolutely need these things because without them, we are going to massively fuck up. The far right is deluded enough to think they would do good for everyone without rules in place.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
