Yeah, like you who is just pasting Kremlin propaganda no matter how many times you have been proven wrong.
Belacqua Wrote:Just look at those saying that Ukraine could defeat Russia. So much of what people believe is based on passion, partisanship, and wishful thinking.
Ukraine did pretty well. Putin expected to conquer Ukraine in 3 days and still hasn't done it 3 years after.

You know who is actually imperialistic? Russia is imperialistic because it is attacking and conquering other countries.
If Ukraine wants to join NATO it is free to do because it is a free country.
Belacqua Wrote:As for propaganda, the US is soaked in it, and lots of people believe it. The only way I know to guard against it is to find journalists and academics who have long histories of arguing against the propaganda, who then turned out to be correct.
And yet you haven't found those supposed academics, only guys who are spreading Russian propaganda on Putin's controlled TV channel Russia Today. So you are the one soaked in propaganda.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
