As I said elsewhere on the forum, everyone is either afraid of Trump or has been bought and paid for.

I fear that the only thing that will stop him is some rogue gunman with decent aim.  Of course, that will make him a martyr for the MAGAts so it will be same shit different day.

I had held onto some hope but that has faded...this is not the country I put on a uniform for...not even close.

I am hoping Trump will die of natural causes before he can undermine our democracy completely. But even then, MAGA people would invent divisive conspiracy theories.

I am also hoping, in the meantime, that our courts hold up and economic and political pushback from other countries will help keep Trump in line.

He obviously isn't reasonable or self-regulating.
