I also cannot keep looking at issues like this without getting a little philosophical. Thomas Hobbes has a very nice book called “The Leviathan”. In this book he compare humans to hedgehogs with a need for proximity (all the human relations that we have) and also defenses (that will always hurt us whenever we come near). So his solution is to destroy all defenses of society except for one individual (The Leviathan) who is allowed to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Another such piece of literature that was hated by everyone when it came out and was found very inspirational by republican thinkers of the 18th century is Machiavelli’s “The Prince”. I won’t elaborate on this everyone who hasn’t read it yet can do so.
 
So what is happening here is this. Let’s take Donald Trump. He likes being erratic, unpredictable, threatening, you never know what he is going to do, when he is going to do it. He is like this piece of puzzle that does all sorts of things just to get you to comply with “his” version of how things should be.
 
This isn’t “business-like”. This is more gang-like. Like “we against them” sort of thing. I’m not saying that this is completely unimportant. It’s just that (yes) there is you and your clan (whatever that may be), but there are also others (neighbors, friends, enemies whatever). So I don’t know how to call that. How do you act as if these “others” have no importance at all?
 
Because that’s “unpredictable” is. You need to talk to the other side. The “unpredictable” does not talk to the other side. He simply tries to manipulate everyone to get the whole deal possible.
 
This of course include persons like Elon Musk. We are in a time in which people who should not even have a small position in the government are ending up as heads of governments.

I think all of those "impredictable" /* Leviathan-like politicians around the world should be replaced by some sort of AI. Call me futuristic but I don’t see any other solution
