Culture describes the shared aspects of a population (like you unironically making a FMJ reference, and me seeing that as boomer behavior).
And if culture is defined by what’s shared, then saying that people share things like language because of culture isn’t an explanation, it’s a tautology.
More descriptive than tautological, I think.
