With cancer, one day you don't have it and the next you might...and it might be moving quickly through your body. Or...it might be quietly sitting there and will take some time to metastasize if not removed and/or treating.
And it's not the same for everyone.
Here I am at 15 years after being told I probably had three. It's a crap shoot.
I’ve read that Biden’s cancer - even at an aggressive stage 5 - had a good survival rate for someone his age.
But let’s face it - he’s 82. He’s got more years behind him than ahead of him.

This type of cancer needs testosterone to sustain itself. In the past castration was the recommended treatment in men Biden's age. Now there are testosterone blocking drugs that have shown good results in slowing the progression of the disease.
