My brother is one of them, he's 53, disabled but not enough for SSDI, and no one will hire him. He'd be homeless if my mom didn't own the house he lives in. He gets by doing odd jobs and such.
He will absolutely suffer and die without access to medical care. Medicaid is all he has.
