I suspect you're correct. We saw this before with Clinton and Monicagate, and it could be argued that something similar happened with respect to G.W. Bush. No, I don't really want to open those two particular cans of worms - the point here is that in recent elections, we've seen legal challenges to elections by those who didn't care for the result. It may be a case of selective memory on my part, but it does seem to be happening with more frequency, not just at the federal level. I've seen it locally as well.
