I accompanied my oldest to the local No Kings protest, at the rotary (roundabout) in the center of town. She had a good time. Some of the signs were funny. about 150 people - a lot for my small town.
There were six counterprotesters. One of them, a well-known MAGA crank, held a sign that said "Deport White Liberal Women." He would curse when drivers would flip him off, going batshit. The folks in the center of the rotary (No Kings folks) chanted for Boyd, the crank, to go home, which he eventually did when a light rain began to fall.
There were no incidents besides Boyd's tantrums.
