There are three groups: 1 the people who work with science and facts who genuinely want a better country for all groups of people, 2 the science denying Christian nationalists who want rich white, strait, Christian men to control everything, and 3 the appallingly stupid undecided voters who are just pissed about everything without any understanding of how things work and inevitably vote for the other side to take back power after each administration.
