How about a model of democracy where people get voting power equivalent to their IQs? Higher IQs equal more sway to what they choose. I realize this will never happen because stupid people control everything but it's nice to think about.

But seriously, getting rid of the electoral college is a good start.

So, still a democracy. But a higher IQ won’t necessarily equate to more responsible voting, nor would it ensure better governance. There have been plenty of people with respectable IQs who supported disability-based eugenics, racism, and anti-Semitism.

And getting rid of the EC, while a good idea in itself, would lead to more democracy, not less.
