As I understand it, the House has to vote to release the files a - dead cert. Then the Senate has to do so - possible but less likely. Assuming it passes both houses, Trump can either sign or veto it. If he signs, he's fucked, because there's clearly more about him in the files than has already been released. If he vetoes the bill, it's going to be viewed as an admission of guilt, however he spins it.
Maybe his best option at this point is to resign in exchange for an unconditional pardon from President Vance.
