You already know the election results, the story about how may Germans emigrated, etc. All that was necessary is/was a core percentage of the population being at least indifferent, and the US clearly has exceeded this threshold too, unfortunately.(Yesterday at 12:53 pm)Deesse23 Wrote: I am really puzzled why such an ignorant and vile human being does not have 40% but only 1% approval of the US electorate. We are talking about literally millions of people who not only have no issues with that, but are actively in support of this.
That is what makes me the most depressed about this.
What kind of a person supports a shitstain like Trump? What does it say about a country when it has so many of those people? It makes me very ashamed to be an American. It makes me very ashamed to be a blue-eyed blonde male with light skin, the biggest demographic of the orange turd.
Its part of the human condition. Thats what happens in societies, given certain circumstances. The Roman Empire rotted away internally at its peak of power. Look at powerful chinese dynasties. There are numerous examples where huge and powerful societies showed decay even at their peak. Some of them even experienced cultural peak during their overall decline!
If we cant prevent it, at least we should not be lying to ourselves when we see it happen. Its the first step to overcome it.
