Because, you stupid fuck, there are these things called aircraft which rain down bombs and missiles on your giant, floating target. That's why we don't do battleships anymore. They were obsolete in WWII. The famous German battleship Bismarck was disabled by a WWI era biplane powered by a radial engine.
