I wish I were so sanguine. I think that he will turn to the machinery of state to 1) stack the vote in favor of the fascisti, and 2) overturn any unfavorable results in any of the bigger states. I mean, he's already tried once to use violence to retain power. I have no reason to think he won't try again, and this time more effectively.
Fair point. That’s the trouble with the time lag between the election and the swearing in of new Congresspersons - it gives him a window he won’t hesitate to exploit.
