As long as israel will be able to produce good products used for electronic surveillance (like Pegasus) it will continue to have defenders among governments I think. Public sympathy turned against it (at least from what I read) but in current era it does not mean that much - bots and propaganda can possibly revert the trend.

I hope I will see the day when this rogue state will be held responsible for all it crimes since Nakba but I doubt it will come in my lifetime.

Israel will no doubt continue its atrocities as long as the US encourages them. 

It's often disappointing to see people condemning Israel's actions while denying that the US makes these actions possible through military, financial, and logistical support. And of course the US vetoes any UN declarations which oppose Israel's actions.

And yes US continued support of genocidal regime is beyond the pale but the same can be said about numerous other countries like (not so) Great Britain labelling Palestine Action as terrorist organization (which was found to be unlawful by Britain court)*. It's fucking depressing that tragedy of Shoah can be used as a shield to commit genocide and world just fucking watch. Well, mostly watch as there is some condemnation, far from universal though and certainly not in proportion to abhorrence to the crime.
