I've been thinking for a couple of years that a coup will be the likely outcome of this war for Russia. I'm pretty sure I've posted as much upthread in that timeframe. It seems to be the favored way to overthrow the Russian autocrat du jour -- wait for defeat in war and then out come the knives.
