I think it's possible, not necessarily for us but for a future us maybe. Your body wares out and your consciousness is digitised, as a cheaper university course, or during space travel. It's a good mind expanding exercise to imagine all kinds of strange things that could be possible, not Abrahamic god strange, that tends to be a brain shrivelling thing.
